OSMANOV GAMID NADIROVICH
A visual chronicle of the life of the Kurdish people in Russia
Osmanov Gamid Nadirovich
In retirement.
Russia, Republic of Adygea, aul Bzhedughabl
His roots are from the Bruki tribe. His grandfather was from the city of Van, Turkey.

Hamid was born in Armenia in 1949. The family moved a lot—they lived in Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. In 1997, they came to Russia.

Now he lives in the aul of Bzhedugkhabl, Republic of Adygea.

The family runs a household farm: they grow vegetables—zucchini, tomatoes, cabbage, and peppers—and raise livestock. They sell milk and meat to the state. Their children work in the cities.

Hamid considers Adygea his homeland.
